11 TECHNICAL COOPERATION AND CAPACITY BUILDING

223.   The delegation of Bangladesh welcomes the reports under TRIPS Article 67 from the developed country Members on capacity building support to the developing countries and particularly the LDCs. These reports provide information on a wide range of programmes and activities customized for the beneficiary Members. These programmes are critically important for the LDCs. My delegation also thanks the Secretariat for the briefing on the e-TRIPS Gateway and other webpages related to TRIPSrelated data and information. 224.   Bangladesh sincerely thanks the developed country Members for their support and would like to urge them to continue their valuable support for the developing countries and particularly the LDCs and the graduating LDCs.

The Council took note of the statements made.
48. The Chair recalled that, at its meeting in October 2020, the Council had conducted its annual review of technical cooperation, on the basis of reports submitted by developed country Members, and a number of Observer International Organizations. Since some information had been made available shortly before the meeting, it had been agreed that Members would have a further opportunity to make comments at this present meeting. She invited the Secretariat to provide a brief update on the TRIPS gateway page on the WTO website.
