The representative of Japan said that, while requests for statistical data might go beyond the scope of the review, in the light of the provisions of Article 63.2, statistics might nevertheless provide useful and important information concerning the enforcement situation. He suggested that Members submit any statistics which they already had but that they not be compelled to conduct any additional surveys.
