50. The representative of the Slovak Republic confirmed that his delegation had recently submitted to the WTO Secretariat a copy of the new Slovak Copyright Act, which had been approved in December 1997 and had entered into force on 1 January 1998. His delegation was prepared to have this new law included in the review of the Slovak legislation by the Council in May 1998.
