The representative of the European Communities referred to the conclusions of the Council concerning notifications under Article 63.2 relating to Articles 3, 4 and 5 of the TRIPS Agreement, namely that all those Members which benefited from a transitional period beyond that set out in Article 65.1 would notify to the TRIPS Council their implementation of Articles 3, 4 and 5. Unfortunately, he said, only a few such notifications had been received. He urged the Members concerned to make these notifications as expeditiously as possible.
