17. The representative of Poland said that his delegation had received one follow-up question from the European Communities and their member States. His delegation was asked to provide examples/cases to illustrate Poland's initial reply. He said that Article 31 of the Polish Copyright Act, second sentence, very clearly provided for permissible use concerning, in particular, "occasional live performances connected with religious practice, State and school ceremonies and events accessible to the public, however except for advertising, promotion and election events". His delegation could provide examples in connection with Article 35 on a case-by-case basis in writing in a short time, but he asked the representative of the European Communities to clarify what kind of further examples were sought in relation to Article 31.
