59. The representative of the European Communities noted that an important number of Members had responded to the Checklist and said that his delegation had started to analyse the responses. He agreed with the views of the representative of Mexico that the responses provided would also be useful for the future work to be carried out under Article 23.4. In order to enable progress to be made in the discussions on the implementation of Article 23.4, he suggested that the Secretariat draft a synopsis of the responses received.
