The representative of the United States said that his delegation had not as yet examined the submissions in detail, but it seemed that certain delegations had expressed their responses in simple terms, thus facilitating comparison of the information. Nevertheless, the information was very complex and very technical and had to be analysed thoroughly in capitals. To facilitate that work, he suggested that the Secretariat might be asked to compile the information that had been submitted, or would be submitted shortly, for consideration at the next meeting.
