Copyright Act (Act No. 39 of 1899)
The Copyright Act was revised in order to be compatible with the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired, or Otherwise Print Disabled. In addition, The Copyright Act was revised in order to arrange flexible provisions to restrict rights corresponding to the development of digitalization and networking and arrange provisions to restrict rights pertaining to the encouragement for utilizing archives.
