Ambassador C. Trevor Clarke (Barbados)
B.i Meeting of 23 October 2009, p.m.
63. The representative of Barbados said that in response to the Chair's request for more "pointed" answers to his third question, her delegation's short answer was "no" to the first part of the question, so there was no need to answer the second part. 64. With respect to the Chair's fourth question, she said that special and differential treatment could take the form of a longer period for certain countries for implementing the register system. However, to state precisely what form of special and differential treatment may be necessary, Members would have to wait to see what disciplines would be agreed. It might well be the case that no special and differential treatment would be required.
