5. Statement/summary of statement

35. The representative of Norway said that document IP/C/W/429 was a useful contribution to the discussion and agreed with the need for a structured and focused discussion in order to complete the review of the TRIPS Agreement in this area. With regard to the Checklist, he said that while it had provided a very useful tool, discussions and material developed in other forums, such as WIPO, should also be taken into account.
