The representative of the Dominican Republic thanked the Director General for conducting horizontal consultations on the issues of GI extension and TRIPS/CBD in order to achieve a text to be included in a Ministerial decision as part of the Single Undertaking. She said that more than 100 Members had shown their interest in these issues. Therefore the consultations should continue on the basis of document TN/C/W/52, which had been supported by a majority of the WTO membership.
