N.ii Dispute Settlement
187. The Chairperson informed the Council that, by means of communications dated 30 May 2000, the United States had requested consultations with Argentina regarding certain measures on the protection of patents and test data; and with Brazil regarding measures affecting patent protection (documents IP/D/22 and 23); that the report of the panel on Canada Patent Protection of Pharmaceutical Products (document WT/DS114/R), had been adopted by the Dispute Settlement Body on 7 April 2000 (document IP/D/11/Add.1); that, the report of the panel on Canada Term of Patent Protection, a complaint by the United States (document WT/DS170/R), had been circulated on 5 May 2000 and Canada had filed a Notice of Appeal on 19 June 2000 (document WT/DS170/4); and that the report of the panel on United States Section 110(5) of the US Copyright Act, a complaint by the European Communities and their member States (document WT/DS160/R), had been circulated on 15 June 2000.
