The Chairperson recalled that, at the last meeting, the United States had requested further information from Latvia concerning the review of its legislation, while the European Communities and their member States had indicated that they were still analysing the responses received from these two Members. Since then, Latvia had supplied further information which had been distributed in document IP/Q2/LVA/1/Add.2. He suggested that the item concerning the review of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and Latvia be deleted from the agenda, it being understood that any delegation should feel free to revert to any matter stemming from this review at any time.
