The following communication, dated 15 February 2012, is being circulated at the request of the delegation of the European Union. _______________ This document complements the information provided by the EU in September 2011 on the implementation of Article 67 of the TRIPS Agreement (IP/C/W/560/Add.7). It provides further information regarding specific IP technical assistance that the EU has provided to Least Developed Countries (LDCs), including in response to a number of priority needs identified by some LDCs. It also contains further information as to how the EU provides assistance and the mechanisms available for LDCs in order to assist them in implementing the TRIPS Agreement.
