The present document reproduces the updated information on technical and financial cooperation activities relevant to the implementation of the TRIPS Agreement, which as been received from WIPO by means of a communication, dated 13 September 1999. _______________ The relevant information for the period of 1 January 1996 to 30 June 1999 is contained in a document entitled "Cooperation with the World Trade Organization", which will be presented at the Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of WIPO, to be held from 20 to 29 September 1999. In furtherance to the statements made by ma colleague at the last two meetings of the Council for TRIPS, this document will be sent to you, in English, French and Spanish, later this month. _______________ The Annex reproduces the above-mentioned document, which was presented at the Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of WIPO as document WO/GA/24/5 Rev.
