The Chairperson recalled that, by means of a communication dated 1 November 2001 (document IP/C/24), Senegal had informed the Council of its new status as a least-developed country Member, invoked the provisions of Article 66.1 and any further extensions that might be granted under it, and requested that the Council postpone the review of its legislation.
