65. The Chairman expressed his intention to remain in close contact with delegations with a view to resuming consultations as soon as developments showed signs of renewed consultations being useful. He said that he would continue to talk to delegations bilaterally, in small groups, as well as in big groups. He also urged delegations to continue to dialogue with each other so that a solution could be found based on the 16 December text. He hoped that a solution could be found before the Cancún Ministerial Conference and preferably in time for the next General Council meeting scheduled for 24 July. He asked delegations to be ready to be called back, at short notice, for a special meeting of the TRIPS Council in the event that progress could be achieved in the coming weeks.
