The Chairman recalled that, at its November meeting, the Council had taken up its first annual review of developed country Members' reports on their implementation of Article 66.2 of the TRIPS Agreement. This had been done pursuant to paragraph 2 of the decision on the "Implementation of Article 66.2 of the TRIPS Agreement". As some of the reports had been received only shortly before the meeting and most of them were, at that point, available only in their original language, he had indicated that it was his intention to provide an opportunity at the present meeting for the Members of the Council to make further comments on the information submitted for the November meeting. Furthermore, he informed the Council that, since its meeting in November, a further report had been received from New Zealand (IP/C/W/412/Add.6).
