The Chairperson recalled that, at its meeting in November 2003, the Council had taken up its first annual review of developed country Members' reports on their implementation of Article 66.2 of the TRIPS Agreement. This had been done pursuant to paragraph 2 of the decision on the "Implementation of Article 66.2 of the TRIPS Agreement". At the Council's meeting in June 2004, the representative of Tanzania had said that the LDC group wished to provide comments on the reports submitted in this first annual review at the present meeting.
