85. The Chairperson recalled that on 14 June 2001 the WIPO and WTO Secretariats had launched a Joint Initiative on Technical Cooperation for Least-Developed Countries. Since then, the WTO Secretariat had kept the Council informed about the implementation of the Joint Initiative.
