The Chairman informed the Council that, in the context of the follow-up to the 13 reviews that had been initiated at the Council's meetings since April 2001 but which still remained on the Council's agenda, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia had provided, since the Council's last meeting, a response to the last outstanding follow-up question posed to it. This response, together with the responses it had provided earlier, had been circulated in document IP/Q/MKD/1. Furthermore, Zimbabwe had provided responses to questions posed by the European Communities, Japan and the United States. These responses had been circulated together with the responses that it had provided earlier to the questions posed by Canada and Switzerland in document IP/Q/ZWE/1. The Chairman suggested that the regular review of the legislation of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and of Zimbabwe be deleted from the agenda, it being understood that any delegation could revert to any matter stemming from these reviews at any time.
