17. The representative of Mauritius, speaking on behalf of the ACP Group, said that he supported the inclusion of both items L and M. In the light of informal discussions, he believed that a compromise could be struck concerning item L. Concerning item M, he said India had fully explained that this was not intended as a permanent agenda item, and that its description clearly stated what Members wanted to discuss. Therefore, he urged Members to accept it.
