The representative of Brazil said that his delegation also wished to thank the Secretariat for having updated the note on non-violation and situation complaints and for having organised a very useful briefing at the WTO. He said that Brazil's position remained the same, namely that non-violation and situation complaints should be determined inapplicable to the provisions of the TRIPS Agreement. The reasons for that were exactly those put forward by the delegation of India and China.
