The representative of the United States said that his delegation could support the draft outline, but suggested one minor change in the title of the outline so that it would read "Overview of existing international notification and registration systems for geographical indications relating to wines and spirits". The Secretariat's note should only include those registration systems that addressed, in some fashion, wines or spirits. Registration systems that concerned other products could be taken up, provided that they addressed wines or spirits as well.
