Therefore, he supported the statements made by the delegates of India and the Philippines. For his delegation, the exercise consisted of a substantive review of the provisions. Secondly, he realized that there would be a need for further discussions at the July meeting, but it was premature for Members to commit themselves to entertain informal discussions after July. First, it would be necessary to take stock of how Members would wish to structure the discussions to be held after the July meeting.
