The Chairperson said that, prior to the meeting, the Secretariat had received copies of questions posed, to the two Members to be reviewed, by Japan, the United States and the European Communities and their member States (documents IP/C/W/150, 151, 152 and 158), as well as responses from the Kyrgyz Republic to the questions posed to it by the United States and Japan (documents IP/C/W/153 and 160) and from Latvia to the questions posed to it by the United States and Japan (document IP/C/W/159).
