[Follow-up question from the EC] Does Japanese law accept the filing and protection of collective trademarks belonging to associations that are not necessarily incorporated legal persons, such as certain authorities established under public law?

Japanese Law requires that associations be incorporated legal persons as a condition to seek the protection of their collective trademarks.
