[Follow-up questions] (a) Are there any types of works other than published editions which would be protected by copyright under the current South African Copyright Act but which may be excluded from protection by the operation of Section 43(a)(ii)? If so, please specify all such types of works.

Such works could be "works of a technical nature", "published editions" and "computer programs" (see Dean "Handbook of South African Copyright Law" at 3-44 to 3-51).
