Italy has financed with EUR 98,550.00 a project run by the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), called "Summer School 2022". It was aimed at offering theoretical and practical training on tools included in the field of unification of private law, and at the creation of a virtual community of participants and teachers that facilitate the exchange of best practices and problem solving experiences. The international private law is a pivotal instrument for the protection of rights (including intellectual property rights) in cases involving a plurality of regulatory systems. The Summer School classes took place between 20 June and 22 July 2022 and saw the participation of 22 magistrates and government officials (including 9 men and 12 women) from 12 countries and an international organization (Algeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritania, Mauritius, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, ECOWAS ).
