1. The representative of the United States said that his delegation had nothing to add to the response it had given and was of the view that the law of the United States was perfectly consistent with its obligations. It had endeavoured to provide information to the delegations of Cuba and the European Communities as was required of it under Article 63.3 of the TRIPS Agreement. In providing the legislation and the relevant court decision, it had complied with these obligations.
