The Chairperson suggested that the Council urge those developed country Members who had not yet done so to provide the information requested by Zambia; invite UNCTAD to submit written information on the outcome of the UNCTAD Expert Meeting on International Arrangements for Transfer of Technology in June 2001 for distribution to WTO Members, and to make a statement at the next meeting of the Council updating it on the work on-going in UNCTAD relevant to the implementation of Article 66.2 of the TRIPS Agreement, in particular as a result of its Expert Meeting; take note of the format for information suggested by Zambia in document IP/C/W/298; and revert to the matter at its next meeting.
