B.ii Outstanding initial questions from the reviews of the legislation of Botswana, Egypt, Fiji, Mauritius, the Philippines, Saint Kitts and Nevis and the United Arab Emirates initiated in June 2001
15. The Chairperson recalled that, at the previous meeting, seven Members whose reviews had been initiated in June 2001, had initial questions outstanding. Since then, further responses to initial questions had been received from Botswana, the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates (documents IP/C/W/295/Add.1, 272/Add.2 and 291/Add.2, respectively). Responses to initial questions remain outstanding from Egypt, Fiji, Mauritius, Saint Kitts and Nevis and the United Arab Emirates. 16. The Chairperson said that the Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis had written to him on 4 March 2002 indicating that his delegation was aware that the review of its TRIPS legislation was on the agenda for this meeting. However, he had expressed his regret that his delegation was not in a position to comply at this meeting but intended to make every effort to supply answers before the next meeting.
