The Chairman recalled that a substantial number of suggestions for topics to be considered under Article 71.1 review had been made prior to the Doha Ministerial Conference, but some of them had overlapped with other items on the Council's post-Doha agenda. Since Doha, some general observations had been made under this item, but no suggestions for topics to be taken up had been tabled by any Member.
