The Chairman said that the Secretariat note also listed seven Members whose reviews had already been deleted from the Council's agenda on the understanding that any delegation should feel free to revert to any matter stemming from the review at any time. In this connection, certain questions had been raised with regard to the implementing legislation of these countries. Since the circulation of the note, China and Malaysia had provided responses to the follow-up questions that Japan had posed to them in relation to the responses that they had provided in the context of their regular reviews (documents IP/Q/CHN/1/Add.2 and IP/Q/MYS/1/Add.1, respectively).
