117. The representative of Norway said that her delegation had ratified the Protocol in February 2007. She echoed other delegations in urging Members who had not yet done so to ratify the Protocol as soon as possible. She supported the extension of the period for acceptance until 31 December 2011, but hoped that the Protocol would enter into force earlier.
