91. The representative of the United States said that her delegation could not lend its support to the suggestion that the CBD Secretariat invited to provide a briefing on the Nagoya Protocol. It was her understanding that the next CBD meeting in India on compliance measures would be more relevant to the Council's work. She said that the Government of India and other Members present at that meeting should be able to provide such a briefing.
