8. The representative of the European Communities reiterated the views of his delegation on the importance of notifications regarding Articles 3, 4 and 5. His delegation was quite concerned that, despite the fact that Members had had extensive discussions on the format for notifications relating to Articles 3, 4 and 5 and alternative formats had been agreed, so little had come forward so far. He called upon Members which should make this notification to present their notifications as soon as possible.
