10. The representative of the United States expressed his appreciation to the delegations of Denmark, Germany and France for their notifications. He reminded the Council of his concern regarding what appeared to be blanket notifications by some Members of every agreement concerning intellectual property to which those Members were parties, and encouraged Members to revise their notifications so as to identify the specific provisions for which they were claiming an exemption under Article 4(d).
