B.i Notifications under Article 63.2
3. The Chairperson informed the Council that, since the last meeting, notifications of legislation under Article 63.2 amending or otherwise supplementing earlier notifications had been received from France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Norway, Poland, the Slovak Republic and Sweden. These notifications had been or would be circulated in the IP/N/1/- document series. South Africa had notified its responses to the Checklist of Issues on Enforcement (IP/C/5), while Iceland had notified a correction to its responses to that Checklist. These notifications had been circulated in the IP/N/6/- series of documents. 4. Continuing, she recalled that, at the last meeting, the Council had urged the delegations of Ecuador, Mongolia and Panama, whose legislation was scheduled to be reviewed at the end of 1998, to notify their implementing legislation without delay and, at the latest, by 1 March 1998. A reminder, referring also to the required procedures for such notifications, had been circulated in WTO/AIR/755 of 13 January 1998. To date, such a notification of laws and regulations under Article 63.2 of the Agreement had been received from Mongolia. This notification and the main dedicated laws and regulations accompanying the notification had been circulated in the IP/N/1/- series of documents.
