The Chairperson recalled that, according to the procedures for the follow-up of this review, answers to questions posed during the review meeting last November should have been submitted by the end of January 1998, so that the records of the review could be produced without undue delay. The Secretariat had informed her that, to date, some responses were still outstanding. Moreover, Bulgaria still had to submit its responses to the Checklist of Issues on Enforcement. Neither had answers to the Checklist been received from the delegation of Poland, whose enforcement legislation had also been under review at the last meeting.
