43. A discussion of how information on the implementation of Article 66.2 might be provided ensued. In this discussion, some delegations made a link with the provision of information on the implementation of Article70.8 and 70.9, while some others said that such a link was not appropriate. In the light of the discussion and some consultations, the Chairperson proposed that the question put by the delegation of Haiti be circulated in an informal document of the TRIPS Council to all Members4 and that developed country Members be invited to supply information in response to this question. He appealed to Members to take the necessary action to ensure that all notifications and information provided in the Council were as complete as possible, in this case as well as in all others.
