Intellectual Property Regulations 2015
Regulations pursuant to section 137 of the Intellectual Property Act 2011 empowers the Head of State to make regulations prescribing any matter required for the implementation of the Act. The IP Regulations 2015 was developed for the purposes of prescribing measures for issuing licences, the operations and conditions and procedures observed by an applicant, the manner in which applications or procedures are to be undertaken, appointments, powers and duties of delegated personnel, duties and procedures to be followed by Registrar in examinations and reviewing of applications, development of standards and measures required to be observed by any right or protection holder, terms and conditions of licences, provision of requested information, management of all registers under the Act, and offences against regulations.
