Regulation on the Deed of Assignment to be Submitted to Collecting Societies
Amendments have been made in the secondary regulations regarding the Collective Management Organisations (CMO) in cooperation with all the related sectors to make the CMOs more effective and transparent in line with the international developments/regulations (especially with the EU Directive 2014/26/EU) that will affect the well functioning of the CMOs. In this context, to increase the representation capabilities of CMOs in the licensing processes, the “Regulation on the Deed of Assignment to be Submitted to Collecting Societies (CMO's )” dated 1986, which regulates the principles regarding the deeds, which is an important element of the collective licensing system, was repealed and the new regulation was put into effect as of 01.01.2021.
