Statistics on the number of injunctions issued are not compiled separately for intellectual property cases. Injunctions can be enforced by Federal marshals pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 566. In order to provide information responsive to this request, the US Government asked US industry groups for information regarding civil actions. The following chart summarizes the information received in response to that request.
