The following communication, dated 18 December 2018, was received from the delegation of the European Union.[1] It reports on technical cooperation activities by the European Union, as well as certain of its member States (Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden).

This document complements the information on the implementation of Article 67 of the TRIPS Agreement, as provided in document IP/C/W/582/Add.7 of 2 November 2012.

It concerns the technical cooperation activities carried out between July 2017 and August 2018 by the European Union and individual Members in favour of developing and least developed country Members, with the objective to facilitate the implementation of the TRIPS Agreement.
